  1. I would like to see more on the history of the states, and their history in the contest. I would also like more information on how many contestants competed in the first contests.

    1. All the main parts of the garment(s) must be wool (meeting or exceeding the 60% content requirement). Linings and trims can be of any appropriate materials and do not need to be wool or meet the 60% minimum.

  2. Can you provide information for fabric. What percentage must be wool? Must be 100% wool or can it be wool mix with other fibers?

    1. Excellent question! See updated Competition Guideline Page for answer — all main garment pattern pieces must be constructed from a minimum 60% wool fabric, fiber, or yarn.
